Redefining

Who am I? A question I have discovered that is never truly answered, completely. We always have new opportunities that define us. Trials that shape and realign our actions. Our vision of who we want to become is also ever changing.

This week I've taken a deep look at how I define myself.

Elder Bednar taught me that the toughest decisions are made between two good choices. Often as I study things out in my mind, I want instruction. Tell me what to do, and I'll faithfully do it.

And then my buddy Mark shared the story of Alice.

Alice finds herself coming to a crossroads with two paths before her, each stretching onward but in opposite directions. She is confronted by the Cheshire Cat, of whom she asks, "Which path shall I take?". The cat answers: "That depends where you want to go. If you do not know where you want to go, it doesn't matter which path you take." -Alice in Wonderland

I define who I am to become and the path I choose to take, in the 31st chapter of proverbs. I've discovered what that all entails Heather-version (for today at least), mastering difficult skills.

I'm happy.

In fact, I'm even loving my time in the kitchen. HUGE!
