I didn't smack a single apple. I feared with each swing I would be expressing ingratitude for the person I have become.

. . . And I anticipate 2012 to be just as FUN! Can't wait to embrace the unexpected. If I send an apple into the field it'll be to watch the guts fly!

I spoke of just wanting to BE, be what? In my study yesterday I came across two scriptures; 2 Cor 5:17 - "therefore if any man BE in Christ, he is a new creature . . ." and D&C 76:53, "and who overcome by faith . . .". Overcoming here means self mastery.

Self mastery of the habits that take me down, mastery of the abilities I grow, and mastery of the way I endure. Yes, 2012 is a year of faith. Faith that I'll be lead through my experiences. Faith, there will be miracles. Faith in Him.
