"Come see the dolls,"  she asked as delicately as the dolls themselves.  As if the request required as much reverence as the room itself.  I followed, setting all tasks aside.  Hmm . . . I wonder what Hailey will remember about Great Grandma. 

A session all about color but I love the bw the best.   Love their photo faces, lol.

When I see the ballerinas, I hear the masterpiece of a great composer.   I've missed shooting, but only a little.

The Lord has this thing called timing.  One must exercise {mighty} faith.  If there were no other purpose for this miracle happening now, than to bless me with joy in the midst of hard things, then the necessity of faith and time served me well.  In other words - to those who wonder, as many have, if this was planned.  Of course it was. By design. Just not by us. LOL!  As a family, in our little jumbled world, we need our little hero - or heroine.

SAVAGE NUMBER FIVE EST. ARRIVAL NOVEMBER 1, 2012

If my growing belly isn't a joyful reminder enough, Roy's excitement is plenty to keep me smiling.  He planned the day we would tell the children.  A day we would spend together, without stress, without pretense that all is well.  A day to be us.

He designed a puzzle and put pieces in balloons that the girls had to pop to put the pieces together.

Their reactions were mixed, but all in all they were so excited.

Cherakie, having never been a big sister, fell in love with the idea.

After the excitement we ate a picnic lunch up the canyon.  And instructed the girls they had to keep their invisible duct tape on and not tell anyone until after we told the grandmas.  I'm so surprised they kept it quiet.  Each night CK cried in our room.  "Please let me tell!"  Once she had the permission, I think she walked up and down the street knocking on doors, cause I spent the day answering texts and phone calls.

My first "Official" appointment at 14 weeks, not 10,  (Cause I didn't catch on to the pregnancy symptoms being pregnancy symptoms until later than normal)  brought reality and comfort.  I loved seeing the baby, this little person I already love so much.  My sunshine. We are on the path of healing, celebrating, eating, and growing BIG.

I didn't get any pictures of us skating this year.  I encouraged Roy to purchase the video instead of packing all the kids.  For some reason I was really bashful to skate this year ;)

The funniest thing happened in the basement of the Ellen Eccles Theater, a ballerina came up and said, "I know you, you were a girl from China."  She had skated in the show too.  April coached both mine and Chantel's groups.

My hot chocolate friends.  I've skated with these guys for years and performed in 3 shows with them.  Gonna miss them.

Taking my skates off for the last time was a little somber.  I sat in the locker room all by myself feeling lost.  I've struggled on the ice this past year, somehow I must've known my life was heading in a different direction.  Or my limited capacity brain could've been a little OVER stressed.  Anyhow, the ice is a part of who I am.  I'll always love the sound of the blades on the ice.  Hopefully this is only for a season and I'll be back.  Hopefully with more confidence lol.

Daily Happy

Improve something in your environment. Something that won't be undone 5 minutes after the kids come home. Yesterday I reclaimed the empty bedroom. Today I scrub toilets :). Tomorrow I may bring in a bouquet from the early flowering gardens.
