{PROJECT 52}
This project is for all who are never in their pictures. Ya know, the ones who are always holding the camera! Who document but are never documented. Who love but aren't shown loving. Who live but they don't exist in the landscapes of their shots. The rules are simple, photograph yourself with at least one of your family members once a week. Grab a tripod, do the old hand stretch shot, or hand the camera over {hard for me}, YOU JUST HAVE TO BE IN THE PICTURE! Enjoy the journey!

Photos from Novemberfest Performance

The girls danced in their annual Christmas Performance at Novemberfest with Angie's Dance Academy. This is one of the times having four girls is a little stressful. Hailey won't perform until the spring recital. Here's some pictures.
Raquel and her BFF Kylee.
Chantel with the SR group.
Cherakie rockin around the Christmas Tree with Miley Cyrus.

Thanksgiving at Nana D's

One of my favorite memories with my siblings is playing games. We played them so much we would wear them out. Mom and I would play skipbo over and over again, day after day when I was young. Nana D bought brandspankin' new ones for thanksgiving day.
There is no mercy, nor love, nor kind words :). Just Sorry.
We played music with our glasses. Amee loved to listen to it.
I brought my ipod down full of general conference for amee to listen to. It kept her calm most of the day.
Chantel followed her "cool" aunt Chelsea around all day. Do my hair - I'll call you cool. Except I'm with Roy on the driving, she's only 12.

Don't say I never let you have a pet. . .

Chantel asked if she could bring Coco home for Thanksgiving Vacation. Can we add to our prayers, "and don't let the lizard die during Thanksgiving."
I am totally grossed out, but apparently holding Coco at school is one of Chantel's morning routines in 7th grade.
True Love
Ck's not so sure about the legs.
I'm not so sure with how closely it blends into my carpet.
Wish me luck. I can see having a cute monkey, or even the pig, but a lizard. Sheesh.

What do you think we should do?

This morning Cherakie decided she didn't want to go to church. I asked, "Well what do YOU think we should do." I was hoping she'd would say, "go to church."

But no, she said, "Mom we should go to Hawaii." Ok.

I loved Kauai. But I guess if I can't have the island, I'll go for Grandpa D's "Brookes and Birdies". After church when I was younger we'd lay on the couches and listen to his nature tapes.

Pettiskirt Shoot

Took Ck out for a fun shoot, she's very good at pretending she's warm. Well I should say warm thinking about the bubble tape I promised her. This is my favorite pic, just cause she's always been my lipstick girl. Life is always better with a little color :)!

The CRAZY pettiskirt

When I first decided to make this skirt, I thought it would be awesome to make 6 for mine and rosa's girls. Then I bought the fabric, yeah $80 . . . they retail for $80 and actually I have found them in Logan just as fluffy for $70. I've been sewing since the beginning of October when I could get a chance. Comical . . . but I'm loving it. If I can talk Ck into freezing tomorrow, we'll go out for a shoot. She turned on crazy frog and went crazy.

Nichole V Contest

Hey friends and fam, Nichole V is an awesome photog in Salt Lake. I love her artistic style. She now offers her workshop in a box, for a chance to win I am sharing a before and after shot using one of her textures. I use them on many of my hiddensage photography photos. This is one of my all time favorite photos of Raquel in her baptism dress.
